Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Large flight this morning at Mount Soledad
Just a heads up that several of us up on Mount Soledad this morning have had a very large morning flight, so there are plenty of migrants moving through this morning, but whether or not that translates into birds on the ground at other migrant spots remains to be seen. Sometimes there are and sometimes there aren't! We'll post totals later, but it's a very impressive. And still going on at 8:30 a.m. since Dawn. Highlights have been a male Scotts Oriole singing in flight, Purple Martin, migrant Horned Lark, Willow flycatcher, two Olive-sideds, dark-lored white-crowned.

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
