Never before have I reached the one hundred species mark for this place so early in the season. And the bird that allowed me to do it was one of my favorite warblers-the Bay-breasted. The bird was all the way down the dirt path well beyond the set of stairs, all the way to the old, rusty, spiked fence and beyond-in that large oak that partially overhangs the three decker property. I patiently waited for about fifteen minutes. The bird was singing constantly. Finally, I saw its beautiful features I birded from 6:00-10:00:
Least Flycatcher 1

Red-eyed Vireo 2
