When I had what I thought was an injured hawk sitting in my front yard for several hours, I sent a photo to Wildlife in crisis as they requested. Its crop was quite full they pointed out from the photo, so it was digesting a meal. That hawk sat there for at least 4 hours & then took off - I found some squirrel remains where it had been sitting. Bev Propen, orange
