Subject: [centralvalleybirds] Putah Creek Rose-breasted Grosbeak--Solano Co.
Hi all,

Peyton Bounds from UC Davis found an adult male Rose-breasted Grosbeak this
morning at Putah Creek, just west of Old Davis Rd. A group of us are here
now watching the bird, which is hanging out with a Black-headed Grosbeak in
the eucs and willows along the creek. I believe this is the 4th county
record for Solano. Photos are on eBird. A pin for where the bird is
currently being seen is below:

(38.5169966, -121.7581956)

There is also a Warbling Vireo, a few Lazuli Buntings, and a Western
Flycatcher here. Migrants are on the move!

Good birding,
Zane Pickus
