At 9:00 a.m. The White Wing tern is back in view Southwest of J Street sleeping on some weird dark clump structures in the water in front of the distant mud flat. Often with forsters and currently with common as well.

There are now 2,000 Western sandpipers on the main J Street mud flats to sift through. The first full breeding plumaged red knot has returned.
