Hi Dave, it is a Red Knot, but not an adult. It is not at all unusual for
sub-adult (3rd cal-year +)
Red Knot to show a weak orange/ red wash on the underparts, and all other
plumage and structural details fit a Red Knot better than a Great Knot,
albeit a comparatively long-billed bird….which is also not unusual.
