As if we need more proof that northerly winds and nighthawk migration don't mix, here is still more. Winds blew steadily from moderate to light from the NW. All birds moved south in groups of 9, 7, 2, and 1. But no worries, the season is still young.
Tomorrow's weather forecast calls for southerly winds raising expectations for a much better count.
