Registration is now open for the 18th annual statewide meeting of the
Arizona Field Ornithologists. You can register on the AZFO website

The meeting will be at the *Mesa Community College* in Mesa, *3-5 October*.
It will feature a Saturday session with presentations on projects and
activities to learn more about the status and distribution of birds in
Arizona, and an evening dinner highlighted with a talk by Dave Pearson,
"Bird Migration--What we know and guesses at what surprises the birds are
still holding". Mini-field expeditions, including to areas not usually
open to the public, will take place on Friday and Sunday. Sign up for these
trips will be open soon.
Students and other youth can apply for scholarships

The meeting is a great opportunity to meet and get to know like-minded
birders from around the state.
