Yesterday I observed at least one and perhaps two Dusky Flycatchers on the trail through Upper Noble Canyon. This is a few hundred meters south of the trail's crossing at Pine Creek Road, where the trail runs west of a small meadow before it runs west of pretty good montane riparian. It looked from the onX app that while the trail is on USFS land, the meadow and riparian were on private land. I heard a Dusky whit several times while I was on the trail in riparian on my way down the canyon, fairly certain it was a Dusky yet leaving it as an Empidonax sp. on my list since I did not see it. I was able to see one on my walk back up the canyon, this time in the meadow mentioned above.
