Hi folks,
Our bird feeders on Foothills Road in Portal are currently closed due to
bear activity. What appears to be two different bears have broken into our
seed shed several times over the last month or so. This morning after I
discovered that a bear had once again broken into the seed shed, I observed
the bear behind the shed toward the creek. I fired two shots into the
ground and the bear did not even flinch. We cannot have visitors when we
have a bear in the vicinity that has no fear of humans. All for now.
