The bird reappeared at 2:20 after which time 3 different vehicles came down the path by pond c and flushed the bird. After about 5 minutes it reappears but each time is retreating further into the shadows away from pond c on the tree hill trail edges. I saw him last here 33.66423° N, 117.84242° W at 2:05 from a vantage point at the tree hill bridge. He was by blue nesting boxB 17. He seems to like both sides of this trail, the one bordering pond c and the tree hill trail cutoff. Thanks to yimo Yang for this great find and Calvin snd Sue and also Shirley for refinding it I and letting us all know where it was seen !!!It is hotter than hades here w a slight breeze the only saving grace- no shade w a vantage point of this bird. Sorry I can’t stay any longer if anyone else is coming, as I have a delivery so I have to head home my pics will have to due as this heat makes u feel kind of nauseated . It’s hotter than hades bring lots of water
