An adult Little Blue Heron continues in the pocket pond. At 1:10 PM it was roosting during high tide on a Salicornia island at gps 33.7043342, -118.0500460, before flying towards the tide gate So far as I know, the initial report was yesterday by the LA Birders field trip. Perhaps the returning adult from last year.
