Weather: Partly to mostly cloudy with light northeasterly winds becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Warm and pleasant day.
Raptor Observations: Slow day overall. The highlight was a Merlin that rocketed through at treetop level in the morning. Two ospreys, three Bald Eagles. One migrating Cooper's Hawk plus a few others seen. One each of red-tail and red-shoulder. Two kestrels and a non-migrating peregrine that headed north then stooped.
Predictions: Tomorrow: Partly cloudy. High around 80F. Winds light and variable. Local raptors should be up but migration may be slow so early in the season.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 83F. Winds S at 10-20mph. Less favorable winds.
Friday: Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 86F. Winds SSW at 10-15mph.
