Weather: Variable lighr winds from the E,NE,SE,and NW. Average temperature was !7 (C). Cloud cover 20 to 80 %. Visibility up to 40km. with a haze across rhe valley in the morning Heavy rain storm across the valley around 2 pm.
Raptor Observations: 29 raptors counted for the day, including 2 adult bald eagles at 1:56 and 2:00 pm. Sharpshin hawk made passes at owl decoy then perched in snag for 5 minutes before moving on.
Non-raptor Observations: Black bear ran across the road by the cementary. 33 monarch's ,cabbage whites, black swallowtails, tiger swallowtails, Spicebush swallowtail. waxwings, red bellied woodpecker, tree swallows, bluejays, 5 hummers, local tv's, turkeys, ravens, crows
