I figured no issue with a nighthawk. Sure….. Nuttin. But the Red winged
Show at the east end of Cowan lake was super! A couple thousand
Blackbirds coming into roost on the lotus leaves. I like numbers! And
From what I could scan well, they were mainly males.
No terns either…. Sigh…..
Another highlight was a Merlin that came in low and fast at the fishing pond
Area. Nice looks. That was unexpected.
Good birding all. Past my bedtime. Probably warren tomorrow.
