Subject: [Ohio-birds] Warren big year birding
Slow. I wasn’t expecting too much with SW winds last night. I still need
Sapsucker for the county. No success this morning. I am hoping for
Franklins gull. Maybe next week. The best congregation of gulls was at
Young rd - Clinton county. Loads of tree swallows also. I hit Soring valley
Mid day. Still no sapsucker….. that was quiet. But I did the full loop,
Greene county had more - it’s a more open area through there. I picked up
four new birds for Greene! Including Sandhill crane! I’ve had that many times
For Warren there, guess I haven’t heard while in Greene county!! They nest
There. My big surprise today was odes. Loads of autumn Meadowhawks.
And a darner! Hopefully I can see enough id points with my blurry pic….
It’s hard getting good ode shots.

Tues will be Clinton somewhere.

Good birding all.
