Weather: Calm winds and clear skies to start. Westerly winds increasing to strong and gusty. Periods of sun and clouds, becoming nearly overcast in the early afternoon. Moderate temps.
Raptor Observations: An excellent Turkey Vulture flight with nearly 200 migrating. A few Black Vultures migrating as well and increasing numbers seen. Constant Bald Eagle activity with a couple adults chasing each other throughout the day and 9 migrating. One adult female Northern Harrier. A handful of Accips with 12 sharpies and 8 Coops. A few Buteos with 5 red-shoulders and 4 red-tails migrating. Falcons were a male kestrel and two merlins. Mix of low and high migrants.
Non-raptor Observations: 20 Canada Geese, 2 Chimney Swifts, Great Blue Heron, 5 Fish Crows, 2 Common Ravens, Horned Lark, 250+ Tree Swallows, 25+ Purple Finches, 1,000+ Common Grackles, 4 Palm Warblers, 8 Yellow-rumped Warblers, 1 monarch. https://ebird.org/checklist/S280849326

Predictions: Tomorrow: Mostly sunny. High 61F. Winds W at 10-15mph. Overall similar to today and would expect similar results. Spotting may be difficult if there aren't many clouds. Expect moderate migration.
Friday: Mainly sunny with a few afternoon clouds. High 59F. Winds WNW at 10-15mph. Expect moderate to good migration.
Saturday: Sun with some clouds. High near 60F. Winds NW at 5-10mph. Expect moderate migration.
